New Product Announcments

Intermountain ES44AC, ES44DC and Athearn SD70ACe's ~~ January 25th, 2010

Many of you know about the new HO Intermountain ES44AC's and the ES44DC's that are being released. The AC's in March/April and the DC's in July/August. On January 18th, Athearn finally announced the production of the LONG awaited SD70ACe in HO scale. These of coarse are being made from the old Tower 55 Tooling that they bought from Overland when T55 went under a while back. Athearn and Intermountain are really stepping their game up with the release of these 3 locomotives, and these are going to a whole new level of "Super Detailed RTR" locomotives. Both manufactures are doing these locomotives with roadname specific details, something that not very many manufactures have done with their models until now.


The Intermountain AC's and DC's will come DCC/SOUND equipped with a Factory Installed SoundTraxx Tsunami DCC decoder. Non-Sound models will have a Factory Installed DCC decoder capable of operating on analog DC or DCC.

The Athearn SD70ACe's will come DCC/SOUND with a Factory Installed SoundTraxx Tsunami DCC decoder. Non-Sound models will have a Factory Installed DCC decoder capable of operating on analog DC or DCC.

We are now taking pre-orders on all 3 of these locomotives. If your interested in pre-ordering one of the above locomotives, please PM or email us with the item number(s), your shipping address, and email address. It does not cost anything to pre-order. Payment is however expected in full when they have been released and before they are shipped from us. When it comes close to when these locomotive are being released, we will email you about your order to make sure you are still on board. If you find yourself not having the money for what you have pre-ordered, or you just dont want it anymore, we can cancel the order for you no questions asked.
